MILAN->STOCKHOLM
I got so much to look forward to this long weekend ahead of me. First four days in Milan (going there for the third time in a month!) that I have been looking forward to for two months and then BACK HOME. - Borta bra men hemma bäst ? - Fam, best friends, time off (well officially yes, but the work load really never stops), a brand new MacBook Pro waiting for me, Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week - I'M SO HIGH ON LIFE RIGHT NOW !

CONNECTIONS, CONNECTIONS, CONNECTIONS
You can never get too many, especially in the fashion industry, and right now I can definately feel the hard work paying off. More exactly, I got to bigger projects going on with two very successful companies - I can't wait to get started. Oh, how I wish I could tell you about them.. Soon enough I will tho !

Stunner.
ALL EYES ON: FRIDA GUSTAVSSON
Swedish beauty from Stockholm has taken the modelling industry by storm and is now one of the most booked models in the world. She is only 17 and as if that's not enough - Frida is the new front face of the fall 2010 campaign of Sui. That's 'nice', right ?

Always connected.
TWITTER
I'm a complete Twitter nerd, I have it on my Blackberry and tweet from school, travels, photoshoots etc. and let me tell you it pays off. I don't know anywhere else where you can get the lates fashion news any faster. In other words; if you're not on Twitter, get on Twitter. Chop chop !
(Tips: if you don't feel comfortable tweeting with no followers, even though that's where everyone starts off, then you can get it just to follow others !)
The fur collar inspiration.AUTUMN 2010
As much as I love the summer, especially now when it's a little bit 'cooler' with around 30 degrees instead of 40, and as much as I love walking around in bare legs and sippin summer cocktails, I can't wait for the fall to arrive. Not the winter. Just the fall. I love how the mild temperatures allow you to play with ticker or thinner pantyhoes; boots or anklets; coats, short jackets or just a cardigan; accessories such as gloves, scarves, hats and sunnies. Bring . it . on !
My fall: flat overknee boots, camelcoat with a grandissimo fur collar (that I've already found), military green, noticable gloves, green, purple and grey nails.

HIGH FIVE vs NOGUE
Continuing to get this blog more structured I will start off with a new category called HIGH FIVE where I every now and then will post my five favorite highlights. I could be trends, collections, happenings, outfits etc.
Contra the HIGH FIVE category, I will also start a another category - NOGUE - where I will post my less happy fashion moments.

The SIMPLE life
Four days straight without a proper internet connection on my laptop - AJUTO - how did the world function before the triple double U's ?! However. the past days have spent doing major vintage finds..
2 pairs of LEVIs jeans shorts from the 50s and 60s and fur collar (picture coming up !) I've dreamed about since I layed eyes on THE Michael Kors Fall 2010 campaign a few days ago - is that luck or kharma ?
.. relaxing DELUXE at beaches ..
My plan:
Only fill up half of my suitcase so I can bring back more autumn clothes from Sweden.
My reality:
Overweight on my way to Sweden already.
Anna Dello Russo somehow makes it look so easy..

MEGAN FOX on the cover of Deutch COSMO with those clear blue eyes of hers - gaaah what a beauty ! Definately one of my top cover girls together with Gemma Ward and Alek Wek (completely depends on what magazine of course !). There is just something so luxurious and royal about Alek.
Speaking of covers, am I the only one who isn't too thrilled about magazines having random celebrities, such as actresses and singers take over the highlight spot ? What are the gorgeous models there for ? If you ask me, I find it quite a bit of a turn off to see Hillary Duff, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Aniston , Lindsay Lohan, Drew Barrymore etc staring back on EVERY OTHER magazine. Zzz.. ELLE might be the ones who have mastered this disaster the best.
Give us back the FAB magazines where the roles are set straight; models do what they do best, modelling, and actors stick to their areas of expertise.

WABI-SABI is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection and profundity in nature. Wabi-sabi is underplayed and modest, the kind of quiet, undeclared beauty that waits patiently to be discovered.
Wabi stems from the root wa, which refers to harmony, peace, tranquillity, and balance. Generally speaking, wabi had the original meaning of sad, desolate, and lonely, but poetically it has come to mean simple, unmaterialistic, humble by choice, and in tune with nature. Someone who is perfectly herself and never craves to be anything else would be described as wabi.
Sabi by itself means "the bloom of time." It connotes natural progression-tarnish, hoariness, rust-the extinguished gloss of that which once sparkled. It's the understanding that beauty is fleeting. Sabi things carry the burden of their years with dignity and grace.
Wabi-sabi is not a decorating "style" but rather a mind-set. There's no list of rules; we can't hang crystals or move our beds and wait for peace to befall us. Creating a wabi-sabi home is the direct result of developing our wabigokoro, or wabi mind and heart: living modestly, learning to be satisfied with life as it can be once we strip away the unnecessary, living in the moment. You see? Simple as that.

TODAYS OUTFIT NO1

I don't know where I got the singlet from but it's just a basic one. The skirt is my mums scarf that I've taken possession of and wrapped around and the belt is probably vintage or maybe from H&M.

The K.I.S.S rule
I have always wanted to be that non-stressed, chic looking type of traveller with a NORMAL SIZED handbag, sunnies on and of course a White Chocolate Mocca Frappucino to go. Instead, I am always the one with overweight bags, sprinting to check in and has a maximum sized carry-on bag. Classy.
By now, you would think I SHOULD BE A PRO IN PACKING, with the past years' travels to Sydney, Bali, Belgrade, Italy - but nah. I am never ever going to find packing fun or easy.
I have made up my mind though, I am going to be that relaxed chic traveller with a coffee cup in my hand. I'll pack everything spaciously in my grade suitcase so I comfortably can strut the airport and relax for once. Right now I am in the middle of getting the bags ready for going back to Milan and then back to Sweden for a month - can I get a prayer ?
Miss Posh never disappoints.

TELL ME YOU'RE NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO FALL (IN LOVE ?)
Both of these outfits are just flawless. The military jacket and knitted scarf on him. The maxi fur collar TO DIE FOR, the camel coat and the loose trousers with the belt. Fab_

Soon enough, me and my frizz will be back on sync_
This year's summer made its debut annoyingly late after the weeks and weeks of merciless rain pouring and only four weeks later I'm already longing for autumn. The extreme heat, the 1,5 hour distance to the nearest beach and the never before experienced humidity has taken over the decision of my day to day outfits, IT LIMITS MY ENERGY LEVEL and above all; it's constantly having my hair frizzing to a tiring level. And having the rich and full quality of hair, that I'm 99% of the time very thankful to have, I don't have time wash it every day. Fashion crisis, I can handle. My low energy level is easily adjusted thanks to my love for fruit and greens - but I-just-can't-stand bad hair days.
You never know, maybe that's the day she has a date with destiny. And it's best to be as pretty as possible for destiny. - Coco Chanel
Here I was, thinking I was going to rock the hair trends this summer. AS IF_ Oh well, with refreshing Sweden just around the corner for me - I cannot wait to stroll through the city in heels without overheating and having my hair THE WAY I WANT IT.
A lovely 4 day trip to Milan next week, and I will be off back HOME.
